Carlos opened That’s Dancing in 1992 and has been teaching ballroom dancing for over 20 years. Carlos began his dancing career in ballet and jazz. He performed with several ballet companies and trained with the renowned Phila-Danco before moving into Ballroom and Latin dance. In the years that followed, he has become a top pro-am teacher, competing professionally and earning many titles in the Rhythm and Latin categories. He was the United States Rising Star Latin Champion in 1992 and since then has gone on to earn titles at numerous competitions across the United States. He is also a member of the American Dance Montage Ballroom Theater Company, headed by Frank Regan, which travels around the United States performing for various events. He continues to compete professionally at competitions across the United States. |

Felicia Pendorf

Felicia Pendorf began her dance training as a child at Central Maryland School of Ballet in Laurel, MD. Her performing career began there as she developed as a ballerina earning the role of Clara in "The Nutcracker." After 7 years she went to bigger and better places and began her pre-professional training with the Academy of the Maryland Youth ballet in Bethesda, MD. Here she gained the opportunity to dance with the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago, performing at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC for one season of the Nutcracker. She also performed with the Moscow Ballet at the Baltimore Convention Center. Throughout high school, Felicia trained intensively and spent two summers training at Princeton Ballet School. She was able to earn Dance Scholarships to her choice of colleges and has studied dance at Hofstra University, University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and Howard Community College. Dancing has continued to be a large part of her life and after falling in love with ballroom she began teaching as soon as she could. Teaching an art she has practiced all her life, Felicia is proud to share the joy of Ballroom with students from all walks of life. |

Patti Golden

Patti’s dance and teaching career has been long and diversified. Her early years included classical training, where she took her talents to NY City and worked regionally, nationally, and internationally as both choreographer and performer in musical theater. Her Ballroom education started in Florida where she worked for several well known franchised schools. Under their system, Patti often ranked as top female instructor in the region. She now is excited to be included at this beautiful facility with exceptional instructors and dancers. |

Amy Latta

Music and dance have played a major role in Amy's life ever since her first Piano lesson at the age of three. As a child, she took ballet and tap classes, then went on to learn Broadway style dancing in high school, performing as part of a nationally ranking show choir. Amy attended McDaniel College , where she continued to take dance classes including ballet and modern, and earned a B.A. in English. She began teaching for Carroll County Public Schools in 2002, which was the same year she took her first Ballroom dance lesson. Amy quickly fell in love with Ballroom, Latin, and swing, and enthusiastically pursued the opportunity to train as an instructor in 2006, which allowed her to combine her teaching skills with her passion for dance. She left the school system and began teaching students of all ability levels and interests at an independent studio. She has also performed dance demonstrations for a variety of civic, religious, and school groups. Amy is excited to be a part of the team her at That's Dancing where she looks forward to sharing her passion for dance and helping new students pursue a hobby they can enjoy for a lifetime. |

Sabine Gray

Born and raised in Germany, Sabine practically grew up in a Dance studio. From age 4 to 18 she took Ballet, Pointe, Tap and Jazz classes. Performing regularly in different genres of dancing, whether Rockette style show cases or jazzy routines to Melodies of Gershwin or Classical Ballet she also had the opportunity to perform at dance demonstrations in Macerata, Italy, to represent the dance school for her city. Sabine was first introduced to Ballroom dancing at age 14, when she traditionally attended a Ballroom dance and Charm school. She left Germany for the USA in 1991 after receiving her bachelor’s in English and German. Sabine never fell out of love with dancing and after moving to Maryland in 2008 she received her training under the careful eye of Carlos Pabon. She hopes to continue to enhance her knowledge in all forms of dance, is thrilled to live her dream and share her passion and to let everybody know that “The best things happen while you’re dancing!” |

Jackie Greek

Jacqueline Greek has been dancing ballet, tap and jazz since 1980. She was a member of a professional jazz company from 1985-1989. After watching Patrick Swayze in Dirty Dancing she began ballroom dancing. Jackie has been a certified ballroom dance instructor since 1987 and began her teaching career with the Fred Astaire National Dance Association. In 1991 she was a featured dancer in the Barry Levinson movie "Avalon" and also assisted in teaching the leading actors in the film. She has taught at conventions for Dance Masters of America since 1996 and has served as a judge for their Chapter 17 competitions. Jackie has also taught ballroom dancing to several prominent members of Congress. |
